About the Program

80 Years of Academic Excellence in Educational Exchange and Leadership

Since the inception of the Fulbright Program in 1946, Fulbrighters worldwide have made a significant impact in their fields. The program is now present in more than 160 countries and territories. In Costa Rica, the Fulbright community has left an indelible mark on the scientific, educational, cultural, and political arenas, living up to Senator Fulbright’s ideal of building a brighter future for all through educational exchange.

This event is an extraordinary opportunity to bring Fulbrighters together: to reminisce about fruitful past experiences, strengthen alliances in the present, and build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future for generations to come through the educational exchanges and initiatives led by the Fulbright Alumni.
